Green Economy Allies
Green Economy Allies are nonprofits or standard-setting organizations who share the mission of Green America. They work to foster fair treatment for workers, preserve the environment, promote health and opportunity in their local community, set standards for the green marketplace, or train today's entrepreneurs and business leaders.
It takes a variety of organizations to build a vibrant green economy. While the Green Business Network focuses its efforts on green businesses, in 2010 we introduced a program to identify and support the work of allies.
The Green Economy Ally Seal is a symbol of partnership with Green America and shows your patrons, partners and peers that your organization has a genuine commitment to sustainability. This Seal is reserved for those groups that have successfully completed a free vetting process.
Once approved, the Seal entitles your organization to:
- List your organization in a special section of Green America's National Green Pages™; and
- Exhibit at the Green Festivals®, the wildly popular, premier sustainability event in the United States hosted by Green America and Global Exchange.
- Advertise in Green America’s award-winning publications.
Green Economy Allies can proudly wear the Seal on all marketing materials including:
- Website,
- Brochures and advertisements,
- Signage, banners, posters, and retail store displays, and
- Newsletters and e-mail correspondence.
