Pennye Jones-Napier is a Co-Founder of The Big Bad Woof holistic, eco-friendly pet supply stores started in 2005. She frequently writes and speaks on nutrition, raw feeding and well-care issues for companion animals. She is a volunteer with Red Rover for equine and companion animal sheltering / rescue work, and her company was honored as a Humane Business Hero by the Washington Humane Society in 2011.  

She and her partner started the 1st Benefit Corporation in 2010 (Maryland & the US) and the 1st certified B Corporation as a franchise entity in 2011. Prior to owning The Big Bad Woof, Pennye ran a cutting edge web development company for 11 years and was a jewelry historian and personal property appraiser in the Dc Metro area and an Adjunct Faculty Member with New York University.

Richard Graves is the VP of Business Development for Ethical Electric. The founder of Fired Up Media, he served as VP of Project Finance for Solar Mosaic, the Online Organizer for the Webby-nominated, 17 million person TckTckTck campaign and the Family Philanthropy Organizer for Resource Generation.

A NextGen Fellow in Mission Related Investment, Richard advises endowments and foundations on sustainable investing and as an angel investor in and board member to startups, such as Skyline Innovations, Jhatkaa.org, and SumofUs.org. A graduate of Macalester College, he developed the first student-led Clean Energy Revolving Fund.

Ida Cheinman has over 15 years of design and management experience with a primary focus on brand strategy and design across print and digital media. With clients including Delaware Valley Green Building Council, U.S. Green Building Council Maryland, Entellis Collaborative, THE ASSOCIATED Sustainability Initiative, TerraLogos eco architecture, Koolhof Earth, and many others, her work has earned multiple design awards and industry recognition and appears consistently in national and international design publications. 

Under her leadership, Substance151 has built a solid reputation for its stellar strategy and design work and its passion for advocating environmentally and socially responsible business practices. Ida has been recognized by Bmore Media as one of Baltimore’s Green Masterminds and named an EcoCEO by Baltimore SmartCEO.
