- Does not engage in predatory lending
Preferences
- Community development banks and community development credit unions, those designated by the federal government as Community Development Financial Institutions, have the strongest certification in terms of serving communities – especially those in low-to-moderate income areas
- Member of US Social Investment Forum
- Demonstrated history of doing business with diverse customer base
- Sensitivity to subprime lending issue
