American Sustainable Business Council
Green America is a founding member of the American Sustainable Business Council (ASBC). ASBC is dedicated to bringing the voice of sustainable business to key public policy issues. The council is a national coalition of mission-driven businesses, social enterprises, and sustainable business networks representing 200,000 businesses, social enterprises, and related entities, plus 350,000 entrepreneurs, investors, executives, or business professionals working to create a just and sustainable economy.
First Affirmative Financial Network
First Affirmative Financial Network (FAFN) has managed investment portfolios for socially conscious investors since 1988, working with money as a tool for transformation. For over two decades, FAFN has been helping investors do more by combining innovative financial management with investment strategies that consider the environmental, social, and governance aspects of potential investments. FAFN directs investment capital toward businesses that offer solutions to some of the world’s most pressing environmental and social challenges.
Progressive Asset Management Group
Progressive Asset Management Inc. screens portfolios, provides social research, and refers those interested in financial services to consultants, advisors, and planners – including the PAM Group. The PAM Group is a national network of socially responsible investment consultants.
Mentor Capital Network
Mentor Capital Network (MCN) supports exceptional entrepreneurs who are building or growing companies that are solving the world’s toughest social and environmental challenges through profitable business models. MCN connects those entrepreneurs to mentors through their Sustainable Business Plan Competition.
Since 2004, MCN has engaged over 1,000 mentors and investors who have provided more than $5 million of mentor capital, supporting the launch and growth of more than 500 green businesses.
Green Chamber of Commerce
Green America is the national sponsor of the California-based Green Chamber of Commerce. The Green Chamber is committed to supporting and promoting socially and environmentally responsible businesses and requires business members exhibit their commitment by receiving a third-party green business certification. The Green Chamber recognizes Green America’s Green Business Certification.
Prince George's Green
Prince George’s Green (PGG) has partnered with Green America to do a pilot green business certification program in Prince George’s County. Green businesses located in Prince George’s County, Maryland can earn Green America’s Green Business Certification and the PGG Business Certification.
