Director of the Green Business Network®
Since 1982, Denise has held senior positions at Green America in the Green Business Network, marketing, publications and Green Festival. She serves as the publisher for Green America publications, the National Green Pages, Green American Magazine and Guide to Socially Responsible Investing. As a community activist, she is passionate about her work to make her diverse neighborhood better. She holds board positions with Green America, Sustainable Community Initiatives/Community Forklift, and Port Towns Community Development Corporation.
Executive Co-Director, Green America
Fran’s work focuses on the core strategies of socially responsible investing (SRI), including education and outreach on SRI basics, community investing, and shareholder action. She also plays a lead role in Green America’s coalitional work on issues such as climate change, advancing the green economy, and control of toxic chemicals. Fran informs and involves Green America’s members — both businesses and individuals — in key policy issues related to Green America’s agenda. She holds an M.A. in Peace Studies from the Institute for International Peace Studies at Notre Dame.
Marketing & Membership Manager
Scott works in marketing and communications for the Green Business Network, and also in member services. Previously, Scott worked in marketing and special events for nonprofit organizations in Atlanta. Scott is passionate about promoting the green economy and social responsibility. Membership Services Assistant
Felicia works with Green America members (businesses and individuals) to answer questions about membership, certification, and renewal. She got her start in environmental justice as a canvass director in college and hasn’t looked back since. She combines her years of organizing experience with her knowledge of environmental and social justice to serve the Green America community.
Michael oversees the process for business members to earn Green America’s Green Business Certification, including standards and partnership development. He is also the Food Campaigns Manager at Green America, working towards a just and sustainable food system. He has a J.D. and M.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Wisconsin.
Misha D. Clive
Communications & Marketing Consultant / Program Strategist
Misha works in marketing, communications, technology, and events for the Green Business Network. Before joining Green America in 2009, she used her B.A. in East Asian Studies from Bryn Mawr College as a small business entrepreneur in the international music industry. She combines her years of experience in organizing for social and environmental causes with her small business background to serve the green business community. Misha is proud to be the 50th Founding Member of Hub DC, a center-in-progress for social innovation in the DC metro area that will serve as an incubator for social enterprise.
Rob Hanson works with Green Business Network members who advertise in Green America’s publications and on Green America web sites. He joined the Green America staff in 1997, and worked with both Green Business Network and Social Investment Forum members before joining the Advertising Team.
